Principal Secretary Breakfast Meeting
Yesterday morning, the Kenya Association of Air Operators (KAAO) Board convened for a breakfast meeting with Ms.Teresia Mbaika, Principal Secretary for Aviation and Aerospace Development, creating space for a strategic and candid exchange on the matters shaping our aviation sector.
Held as part of our bi-annual engagements, the meeting provided an important opportunity to reflect on current industry realities, align on key priorities, and explore practical pathways toward a more resilient and efficient air transport ecosystem. The discussion underscored the importance of sustained dialogue between industry leadership and government, particularly at a time when the sector continues to navigate both emerging opportunities and complex challenges.
At KAAO, we remain deliberate in our role as the collective voice of air operators—championing the interests of our members, contributing to policy discourse, and fostering partnerships that strengthen the industry as a whole. These engagements are not only about conversation, but about building alignment, trust, and momentum toward shared goals for Kenya’s aviation future.
In attendance were key sector stakeholders including the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority and Kenya Airports Authority, with whom we continue to work closely in advancing a coordinated and progressive aviation agenda.
