KAAO 59th Anniversary

Today, as we celebrate 59 years of being a unified voice for air operators, we do so with both pride and reflection, honouring the journey and those who have shaped it.

We pay tribute to Rtd. Col. Eutychus Waithaka, who was and will always be part of our story. We joined his family, friends, and colleagues in laying him to rest at his home, reflecting on a life defined by service, leadership, and enduring contribution. We honour him for his years of dedicated service to KAAO and to the aviation industry at large; his legacy remains woven into the foundation we continue to build upon.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our members, partners, and stakeholders whose continued support and collaboration have sustained and strengthened KAAO over the years.
