GOVERNORS BALLOON SAFARIS

Governors Balloon Safaris is a long-established Masai Mara balloon operator whose published history dates its flights to 1978. The company uses custom-built Kavanagh safari balloons and launches near Little Governors’ Camp. Because ballooning is wind-driven, the actual track varies by day; the operator reports that on many days flights cross the Mara River and riverine forest toward the Mara Triangle. Flights typically last 45–60 minutes and conclude with a bush breakfast.
