John Charles Otieno

John Otienoh is an aviation and technology professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Aviation Management from Moi University, complemented by training in Software Engineering through the ALX programme. His multidisciplinary background enables him to bring together aviation industry knowledge, data analysis, and technology in supporting the work of the KAAO Secretariat.

At KAAO, John contributes to research, industry intelligence, data management, and the development of digital tools and resources that support the Association’s engagement with members and stakeholders. His work involves analysing industry information, supporting policy and regulatory research, documenting aviation developments, and leveraging technology to improve processes and access to information.

With a strong interest in aviation operations, data, and digital systems, John brings a practical and analytical approach to the Secretariat, supporting KAAO’s efforts to strengthen member engagement, industry representation, and evidence-based advocacy.
