On 19th July 2024, the Kenya Association of Air Operators (KAAO) successfully held its first inaugural Corporate Governance Training at the Eka Hotel in Nairobi. This landmark event, hosted in collaboration with Dorion Associates LLP, reflects KAAO’s ongoing commitment to strengthening leadership and governance standards within the aviation sector.
Recognizing the critical importance of strong corporate governance for the future of aviation, KAAO designed this exclusive training specifically for C-Suite executives — including Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and other senior management leaders. The program was carefully curated to enhance their understanding of governance principles critical to strategic leadership and organizational success.
Led by Catherine Musakali as the Lead Trainer and Pius Nduatih as the Supporting Trainer, the sessions offered deep and practical insights into essential areas of governance. Participants explored a range of key topics including:
