At the Kenya Association of Air Operators (KAAO), we believe in empowering women and creating platforms that inspire progress. On 8th March 2024, we proudly joined the celebration of International Women’s Day at the Women in Aviation, Kenya Chapter High Tea, held at the vibrant AirKenya Express Limited Hangar.
This remarkable event brought together aviation leaders, trailblazers, and rising stars under one roof, united by the global theme for 2024: “Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress.” It was an afternoon filled with inspiration, powerful networking, and meaningful conversations about advancing gender equality in aviation and beyond.
We were honoured to have our CEO, Eng. Liz Aluvanze, serve as the Chief Guest, delivering a stirring address that underscored the pivotal role women play in driving innovation and excellence in the aviation sector. The event was further graced by Senator Gloria Orwoba, who shared invaluable insights on the importance of inclusive leadership and investing in women as a catalyst for sustainable development.
As a strong advocate for diversity, inclusion, and empowerment, KAAO recognizes that investing in women is not just the right thing to do — it is the smart thing to do.
