KAAO joined the industry in celebrating EASA Kenya’s 11th graduation ceremony, with the Principal Secretary, State Department of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Ms. Teresia Mbaika, as the Chief Guest.
During the ceremony, KAAO and EASA formalised our collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), witnessed by KCAA and KAAO Board Members.
This MoU lays the groundwork for a long-term partnership focused on strengthening capacity-building, expanding industry knowledge, supporting the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals ( NGAP), and creating pathways for continuous learning within Kenya’s aviation ecosystem.
It further reinforces our commitment to supporting the school through internship opportunities for students, offering them industry exposure and practical training to adequately prepare the next generation of aviation professionals.
A special shout-out to Maureen Mutinda, who graduated as an Air Traffic Controller with KCAA. As a former member of the KAAO Secretariat, Maureen’s achievement fills us with immense pride. We are proud of her dedication, her growth, and the impact she continues to make in the aviation space.
Congratulations to all 2025 graduates — the future of aviation is in capable hands.
